A New Home

Living in Windenburg, specifically the Island, was turning out to be a great fit for the newlyweds. The couple had quickly purchased the empty plot of land and started construction on their dream home. Get In Love! had supplied them with $50,000 to start off with, plus they each had a little bit of money in savings.

Bret and Kristine couldn't live in the house while it was being built, but luckily Bret had camping gear. It wasn't ideal, but it was shelter. The plumbing was one of the first things finished in the bathroom thankfully as neither of them wanted to have to go to the bathroom outside. Kristine brought an easel from her parents' home and had started to paint again to make money. 

Bret: You've been painting for hours, how about you come to bed with me?
Kristine: What's in it for me?
Bret: Well we could try something new tonight...
Kristine: Just let me finish my painting. 

Kristine didn't feel good for the majority of the next day, she couldn't help but wonder so she took a test. Later that night she found Bret down on the beach fishing. 

Kristine: Babe! I'm pregnant!
Bret: That is such great news! I'm so happy sweetheart. I can't wait to meet our baby.

Whatever they had tried the night before had worked, Kristine was expecting and life for the couple was about to change.
